slowly hopeful. Resentful, or full of joy.

Maybe just confused. Wondering what anyone else expects. Ambitious, or
hesitating at every step forward. Bold, or brazen.

Feeling entitled to a job. Any job. Or perhaps preparing for the gutter.
Approaching each day with gratitude, or with an equal sense of horror.

Needing first aid or giving it. Mental first aid to reassure someone. Or warn
them of the danger. The danger of expecting a job, or feeling entitled to a life
in the gutter.
